We moved the conference table back downstairs and reassembled it. Refinishing the top half is going to have to wait until Spring I guess. I picked up more painter's tape from Home Depot so I can continue working on the painting the stairs tomorrow, and maybe the hall if I'm feeling motivated enough. There is so much painting left to do, and I want to get as much done as I can before people come over for Thonksgiving. In other news,we had snow here the other day. It's unusual for us to have snow in October, but there ya go.

I'm done with biking for the year. Just in time, too. Today is grey and cold. Bleh. Maybe I'll bake nomnomnommy oatmeal-raisin cookies or some more pumpkin raisin bread. I'm not working at the moment, so I'm gonna have to find things indoors to keep me busy. Other than playing Minecraft all day. I still have plenty of painting to do, like the second half of the stairs and the hallway to the garage. We've gotta move the conference table base back into the basement. NaNoWriMo is coming up next month, I should try that again if I'm still idle.

It’s another nice day for biking... 63 degrees and sunny right now. I’ve got less than 20 miles to meet my goal for the year. I finished up coating the base of the conference table with polyurethane yesterday, now I just need to wait for it to dry and then we can move it back downstairs. Then I guess it’s on to more painting. Or patching the big crack in the dining room ceiling we recently noticed. We’re guessing it was from the earthquake back in August, because it wasn’t there before. But first, I’m gonna finish up my biking.

I did a little bike riding around, here and there. I’ve got about 35 miles to go to meet my goal of 1000 miles for the year. I also painted a part of the front foyer hallway and worked on finishing the conference table, which still needs another coat of polyurethane. I’m probably just going to finish up the base of the conference table and wait until Spring to work on the top. I’ll have to remember to sand with the grain down to the bare wood, and put on two coats of stain for it to match the base.

I've finished painted the dining room and front hallway with the reddish-brown paint, so it matches the living room. I still have a little bit left for touch-up. My next project will be painting the stairs. But first, I think I'm going to go out for a short bike ride somewhere. I've got a little more than 100 miles to go to meet my goal for the year, and the weather is starting to get colder now, so my opportunities for biking are going to be limited. Today is 55 degrees; chilly but doable. I just need to dress warmly.
